Basic Skills Training 

All workshops are conducted in small groups by a licensed R.E.A.D. instructor. 

These workshops are for therapy team handlers to learn how to conduct R.E.A.D. sessions and to learn techniques for effective mentoring.

Advanced Skills Training 


This workshop is designed for R.E.A.D. teams that have been active in R.E.A.D. and now want to:
  • Understand more educational and behavioral theories that R.E.A.D. supports
  • Learn new techniques to implement in their R.E.A.D. program
  • Discuss issues and ideas they have encountered in their program
  • Share their R.E.A.D. experiences and network with other R.E.A.D. teams.

If you are a parent looking for a R.E.A.D. event for your child to experience check with your local library branch. 

There are R.E.A.D. teams volunteering in all of the seven county metro library systems -- and beyond!  For example, the Hennepin County Library usually has at least one R.E.A.D. event each week.  Check their website and search for 'Paws to READ'.
